TriStars Winter Training Programs begin on Tuesday,
January 3, 2017, and run for 8 weeks. Our group training options are all listed below, along with the training schedule, cost and course code for easy registration. Hard Core Triathlon Program

Suitable for all athletes, the Hard Core Program offers a busy week of training which has been planned and organized to help you reach your full potential by building a strong foundation for Spring training. Featuring 7 training sessions per week, you will swim, bike and run your way to peak form. You may attend as many sessions as you like: for consistency we recommend as many as are possible for you. The Program includes the following: 

Tues: Run 6:30-7:30pm/Swim 7:45-8:45pm
Weds: Indoor Spin Class 6:30-7:30pm
Thurs: Run 6:30-7:30pm/Swim 7:45-8:45pm
Sat: Group Ride 9-11am (Approx) 
Sun: Swim from 9-10am/Run 10:15-11am

Recreational Triathlon Program

Our Recreational Program features just the right amount of training for those doing Sprint or Olympic distances, or those who are looking for a great mix of cross training in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

TriSTART Beginner Triathlon Program

Triathlon training in a fun and supportive environment for those brand new to the sport. All swim, bike and run abilities welcome. Come and amaze yourself with what can be achieved! Light introductory training, plus a weekly triathlon discussion on topics such as transition, nutrition, and fueling, and swim/bike and run technique. This program is offered as preparation for the Beginner Tri for MS on May 7, 2017, or as a relaxed and fun way to get involved in the sport of Triathlon.

Indoor Spin Classes

TriStars indoor spin class. Good times, great people and a challenging workout weekly. 

Wednesday night indoor spin sessions will help keep your riding on point through the Winter, no matter what Mother Nature is up to. These are challenging sessions that offer a mix of form, cadence, intervals, and hill workouts. Great music and great company.
Some loaner trainers available.

Running Program

Our Winter Running Program is suitable for all level of runners. Improve your form, fitness and times for upcoming races with our progressive run program featuring a variety of challenging training sessions. Hills, speed and endurance, this program has all. Suitable for all runners.

Early Morning Swims

Coaches Kylie Acford and Brian MacArthur will meet you on the pool deck for a wake up to your day swim at Esquimalt Rec Centre.  This swim program is a collaboration between TriStars Training and the West Shore Aquatic Club.

*Please note: this program is not included with other group sessions in our Winter Program. This is a stand alone program. 

Dates: Jan 9th to March 17th (10 weeks)
Mon/Wed/Fri: 6 - 7:30am
Cost: $200 plus tax for 3 days a week, $145 plus tax for 2 days per week.
Drop In: $10 per session

Lunchtime Long Course

Coaches Kylie Acford and Brian MacArthur will meet you on the pool deck for a solid midday swim workout at Crystal Pool. This swim program is a collaboration between TriStars Training and the West Shore Aquatic Club.
