2018 Summer Training Program 

Our 2018 Summer Program will begin on May 28 and run through to August 19, 2018. 
We have some new options for training this Summer, a Strength and Mobility Class, Pool Swim Option and a Run option after your lake swim. 
Choose between a Full Summer Program, a Recreational Summer Program or Swim/Run and Brick Only options. All classes are suitable for everyone.

Your Summer coaches will be Jason Ball, Brian MacArthur and Chris Siver along with your Saturday group ride leaders.

Open Water Swim  + Run (optional)

Join Coaches Jason Ball and Brian MacArthur for a Summer in the lake. Tuesday will be a triathlon focused swim (exits, entries, work with the buoys etc..) and Thursday's will distance swim groups. Suitable for all levels. 

Tues - 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Thurs - 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Optional short run to follow the swim which will be suitable for all levels.

Full Summer Program

A fantastic training program to see you through the Summer. A mix of options, locations and activities.

Mon - Strength/Mobility at BDHQ 
Tues - Open Water Swim + Run (optional)
Wed - Brick (Ride/Run) 
Thurs - Open Water Swim + Run (optional)
Fri - Pool Swim (am or noon option)
Sat - Group Ride
Sun- Long Run (Road and/or Trail)

Recreational Program 

A mix of training sessions to keep you busy throughout the Summer. A few less sessions than the Full Summer Program and ideal for all levels of athlete.

Brick Night Only

Brick nights feature a weekly ride followed by a run.  Lead by Chris Siver.  Locations and workouts will vary throughout the Summer to keep each workout fresh, fun and challenging. Suitable for all levels.

Wed -  Various locations
Dates: May 30 - Aug 15
Time -  6:30 pm to 7:45 approx
Cost: $75 + tax 


Time and Location Info

Strength and Mobility Class: is held at BDHQ at your choice of 6 am, 7 am or 6 pm on Mondays. 
Tuesday and Thursday Swims: Thetis Lake at 6:30 pm. Optional group run to follow. Suitable for all levels. 
Brick Nights: are at held at various locations, begin at 6:30 pm promptly. Each weekly location will be posted. Open to all level of riders.
Friday Pool Swim: options are 6:00 am at Esquimalt or 12:00 pm at Crystal Pool. Coaches are Brian MacArthur and/or Kylie Ackford
Saturday Rides:  begin at 9 am from Commonwealth Place. This can vary so please check our individual ride group pages for more info. 
Sunday Runs: starting from various locations at 8:30 am) and suitable for all levels. Run locations will be posted in advance.

The Small Print

Options are as written and can't be "mixed and matched." 
Drop in must be arranged in advanced with the program coach and the cost will be $10 per session.
Participants in all classes must be registered or pay a drop in fee to participate.
