We are proud to have the following Coaches manaing our groups and online coaching programs.


Owner and Head coach: LIndsey Millar

  • NCCP Certified Triathlon Coach

A TriStars Coach (group and online) since 2013, Lindsey has completed all triathlon distances up to and including Iron Distance. An avid trail runner Lindsey has also completed two ultra distance trail races. 

Over the past 5 year Lindsey has successfully coached many 70.3 and Ironman athletes, as well as Sprint, Standard Distance and single sport athletes too. 

Lindsey specializes in coaching age group athletes from beginner through to Ironman as well as athletes involved in individual sports such as running or cycling. 


Swim/Run Coach: Johnny Greaves

  • Has run 35 marathons – including 25 consecutive Victoria Marathons (2:43 PB)
  • 3 Ironman Canada finishes
  • Top age group athlete, Vancouver Island Race series for the past 25 years

  • Shiatsu Therapist
  • Aquatic Therapist/Fitness Leader
  • Swim Coach for the past 15 years (kids and adults)

Johnny has been a TriStars coach since 2004. An accomplished runner and triathlete John brings enthusiasm and knowledge to our swim and run program. He's enthusiastic, supportive and always works with a smile.

Saskia has always had a passion for physical activity –whether it be playing volleyball at a competitive level, hiking mountains or enjoying a yoga class. She first completed a triathlon in 2010 and was immediately hooked. Saskia has done every distance triathlon and continues to challenge herself in the sport. In 2016, she completed Ironman Whistler and also became National Champion at Aquabike Nationals in Penticton. In 2017, Saskia placed 5th at the World Championships for Aquabike and plans to complete her second Ironman in 2018.

Saskia has a Bachelor in Sport and Fitness Leadership and has certifications such as: NCCP Triathlon coach, Spin Instructor and National Lifeguard. From a young age, Saskia has had a desire to help others so coaching is a natural fit for her.  She focuses on creating a welcoming environment to all levels and abilities, giving an opportunity to athletes to strive for their very best and reach those goals they set out for themselves.
